Tech Home Electric Service began in 1995 in Duanesburg, New York. The former company name, Duanesburg Electric, represented the small electrical service company it once was. As our reputation grew and the company expanded, the name changed to represent the needs of the greater Capital Region.
Michael Hebert, a Master Electrician, attended Hudson Valley Community College and earned a degree as Electrician. He began his electrical career at General Electric then was hired by IBM. Mike worked for General Electric and IBM for 15 years.
In his youth, Mike learned about dedication in his family dairy business. His wife, Judy, also was raised in a family-owned business. This work ethic and quality customer service remains the core commitment of Tech Home Electric Service.
Mike is a big believer in education. He has always and will continue to attend classes to learn about the latest in electrical contracting. His most recent class in the Fall of 2004 was a lighting design class at his alma marter, HVCC. Mike continues to take additional training through ALA. In February of 2005, Mike and his family attended the Electronic House Expo in Orlando, Florida. Mike completed several clases during this week.
